A Touch of Woodwinds offers a variety of musical styles and instrumentation.
A string duo, trio or quartet that also uses a flute and/or saxophone depending on the style of music.
Dixieland Jazz consisting of 4-6 piece combo playing New Orleans style Jazz Standards such as "When the Saints Go Marching In"
German Band playing waltzes, polkas and marches wearing authentic Alpine hats and red suspenders
Irish Music Ensemble of 2-4 musicians playing ballads, jigs and marches wearing kelly green.
Italian Trio consisting of clarinet/sax, guitar or piano and bass. Music from "Tarantella" to Sinatra hits. Dress is red, white and green .
Educational programs
Classical Trio and/or Jazz Saxophone Quartet
presentations available for school programs.
Programs are suitable for any age, from Elementary to Secondary.
Material can be tailored for Band, Orchestra or General music. Handouts, instrument demonstrations and power point are all utilized.
Content areas include an overview of the Music History Eras from Middle Ages to Contemporary.
Also a History of Jazz, from Ragtime to Contemporary.
